Fox rescue ~ interesting story for share

Hey there!


In so short time really many thing happened here. Remember the little fellow from my last journal?
I gifted him to a perfect place where they can rehab him from the trauma he came to me. He was a rescued fox I bought from own money from a hunter who most possibly was selling him for other hunters to train their dogs on.

Here sadly there are few hunters who may love their dogs but not take these animals like foxes, badgers equal to anything and handle them as tools. Hunters split here some never would use living wild animal for training but the other side even proud how their dogs hurt and make these poor fellow bleed and in pain. We can report them bit it's a wind-mill fight only very few time when a report really makes change.

The little one lost his brothers and sisters and his mother, kept close to the murderer dogs to smell their scent and starving from the lack of food he got. I bought him unable to stand the way he was but after 4 days it became obvious that he is way more traumatized and too old to offer him a good way of live with us as Family member. He needed his own place to calm down with other kits to play and not lose his childhood.

I took him to a special shelter here who taking in rescued wild animals not only cats and dogs and gifted the little one to them. I knew I did the right decision, since they already have like 4-5 fox kits in his age he can play with and finally be free. He got all medical care and got the name Noodles from me and will get photos of him also notification about his life, and how he is growing and also can visit him anytime I want. Within 2 weeks he will be playing with his aged fox kits already and hopefully forget all the trauma he had to survive.

This kit was saved and I felt proud that I could do it. It was a fantastic feeling to see that I could make his life better. I want to help these animals not torture them and force him to live with us while he fears and can't get along is torture and that was not my intention. Wish Noodles luck with his life!

He deserves all the love he can get!



In other news though I not "left" without a new family member. Someone contacted with me about a found little kit younger then Noodles from a highway right on the road almost hit by cars and causing car accidents. The couple stopped and took him with themselves to save him.
Nobody knows how he got there that young without mother and brothers. Sadly once human touched him/her it was already decided that s/he will need human to survive. No mother would take him/her with the scent of humans. Without humans though he would most possibly die under a car so this was for his best.

We think it's a little boy but not sure in it yet, and also he is younger then Noodles was. Already very used for humans and for a fox very tamed and friendly little fellow which is rare among the kind. Since the couple had already lots of dogs they couldn't really keep the little one so they gifted him to me to take care and give him love.

So I "again" have a Family member who is truly adorable and very-very sweet little fellow. He needs to get medical check and bath him in dog shampoo since he has fleas but too young for more serious flea killer sprays and creams. He was already bathed once and they said he loved it, so hopefully it won't cause troubles. He has no name really yet, but with the time surely he will win a nice and fitting name for himself!

I absolutely love this little fellow here and hope to offer him a great and loving life here. Monday we are going to the vet already!
