They though not allowed to give their wild animals on adoption. They offer for adoption their cats and dogs but offering living area and place for the ones which are wild and not meant for being pets. When you bring in a rescued wild animal you have to sign a document that you no longer desire to be the animalīs owner and giving him/her to them. You can visit them anytime but the animals got in usually stays in for good reasons.
Loki though got to me by a couple who tried to help him first by guiding him back to the wilds where he belongs to, but as he refused to stay there and kept going very actively back on the highway they picked him up and took him. After that they searched for help and contacted with me to actually take him to the shelter where he can get chance to live.
As he got to me filled with fleas, worms, ticks I decided that first we will handle him on our cost and not let the shelter have additional bill after him before take him in. Since we got in this time very bound to him and he also accepts us we decided to keep him.
The other part with the keeping is actually still an on-going project; paper work and such to get legally a permit for him, and in this the shelter supports me already accepting me as a reliable and responsible animal owner with enough knowledge of foxes to know I will be able to take care of him.
Sometimes he tries to push me out to have it back for his own
He is a sweetheart, sometimes he acts very-very bad and already broke a plate and a cup and destroyed things but he can be very cuddly and sweet when he wants to.
And surely you wonīt get bored next to him
